Private Secondary School “Tzar Simeon Veliki ” together with the partners “Association for Macedonian-Bulgarian Friendship” from the Republic of North Macedonia and “Vilnius College” from Lithuania implement innovative methods and approaches for teaching natural sciences under the project “Innovative methods, approaches and practices for effective teaching subjects in the field of STEM in an electronic environment” 2020-1-BG01-KA226-SCH-095199, KD2, Erasmus+ program.

The idea for this project arose during the online meeting “Challenges for education systems in relation to the recent sudden transition to online learning in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic” (01.10.2020), where a group of teachers and educators from the three countries found similar problems in the education sector.

The partners agreed on the common goal of the project, which is to successfully build the capacity of science teachers in junior and secondary schools through the development of digital pedagogical competencies; developing and implementing innovative online resources so that they can deliver high-quality, motivating and inclusive digital education. In this way, the dynamics of the new age are tied to active learning as a goal.

Within the framework of the project, the five-day event C2 – Short-term mobility for students in “Tsar Simeon the Great”, Sofia, will be held, where laboratory experiments will be realised and filmed with the active participation of students from the partner organisations.
